Evans closing in on £7m Toffees switch
Jonny Evans is moving closer to a £7million move from Manchester United to Everton.United and Everton are said to be close to finalising a deal that will see the defender move to Goodison Park.
As revealed by MirrorSport on May 19, Everton boss Roberto Martinez targeted Evans to bolster his defence.
Evans, 27, endured a tough time under Louis van Gaal last season, with injuries and a six-match ban for spitting blighting his campaign.

Valencia are reportedly ready to move for out-of-favour Victor Valdes.The Manchester United stopper has been told he can leave Old Trafford after allegedly refusing to play for the club's Under-21 side last season.
Louis van Gaal stated on Wednesday that Valdes doesn't follow his "philosophy" -although the stopper has hit back against his boss on Twitter.
And according to Marca, Valencia are keen to take the ex-Barcelona stopper back to his homeland.
