Deadly drone with gun attached fires bullets in mid-air after 'teen builds homemade weapon'

The robotic device - with the weapon attached - opens fire in secluded woodland and fires several shots in quick succession

Footage of lethal handmade drone- equipped with a gun - has gone viral after being shared more than half a million times on social media.

The terrifying weapon is seen on film firing bullets into a secluded woodland area as it hovers a few metres above ground.
The drone fires four shots from the handgun in quick succession, remaining steady in the air as it does so.

Each time a bullet is fired, the device is knocked backwards, but quickly regains its position, allowing it to fire shots approximately every three seconds.
The device is thought to have been made by a teenager in Connecticut, who posted the video under his youtube username name Hogwit.
Alongside the footage he wrote a simple description: "Homemade multirotor with a semiautomatic handgun mounted on to it."

The clip has now had more than 524,000 views since it was posted on July 10.
The Federal Aviation Authority's current rules state that weapon are prohibited from being attached to any kind of aircraft.
